Halls tasked us to adopt a global campaign for the local market aimed at Gen-z on social media with the tagline "breathe for it". Unfortunately 2020 the whole world was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic and racial tension was high in the U.S after the death of George Floyed by the hands of police brutality, the #Icantbreathe was active. Using the word "breathe" was a sensitive issue at the time. 

 

We came up with #UngapheliUmoya with the tagline "Get ready with a Halls cooling breath". "Ungapheli Umoya" when directly translated means "don't run out of air", it's colloquial meaning is "don't give up/push through".
